VAN NUYS BUILDING
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
This project involves the renovation of 299 apartment units and support spaces for senior housing in an existing 11-story building built in 1913. This building was given Historic Landmark status at the recommendation of the Cultural Heritage Commission in 2007. RKA continues to work closely with Robert Chattel, a preservation architect, to assess remaining original elements and which elements can be restored to their original design.
